VISIONMAP on Justice is effectively bringing together communities and organizations to work together to improve access to justice for all peoples living in North-east Alberta.
MISSIONMAP on Justice is a vehicle to bring communities and organizations together to address issues in the justice system through collaboration, information sharing and capacity building.
GOALSGoal 1 - Establish a Partnership of Service Providers and Communities whose aim is building, maintaining and strengthening relationships and opportunities with each other and various communities.
Goal 2 – Determine the feasibility of establishing a community-based ‘Legal Resource Centre’ serving the St. Paul Judicial District which will be the principal means of responding appropriately to needs of marginalized populations within the area. Goal 3 - Enhance MAP’s human and financial capacity to undertake this important work. MEMBERSHIP
MAP on Justice Meeting Dates
Regular MAP meetings will be scheduled the 3rd Tuesday in the months of February, April, June, September and November, unless otherwise changed by the majority of members at a regular meeting.
